It is Very Good

So God Created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him: both male and female he created them.  God Blessed them and said to them be Fruitful and Increase in number: fill the earth and subdue it. .. Genesis1:27-28

God saw all that he had made,  and it was Very Good.  Gen1:31

Soak this in….   God is outside time.  God is all knowing.  God had you created already in his All Knowingness, in His Heart, In his Mind when he declared in Genesis that all he had made was Very Good.  Amazinng!!  Are you soaking in what this means…I myself am trying to wrap my head around this.

Enters the Serpent who stole our righteouness by deception, no longer Am I very Good.  Ths sadest day in History…a few short days after creation.  But Praise be to God in his All knowingness he Had the Redemptive Plan already in Progress at the time of the Declaration it is Very Good.  Jesus being the Creator(for alll things were made by him and for him) was well aware the Price He would Have to pay to Save his beloved Creation…In the Beginning was Eternity.

With my Creator, paying for my righteouness,  Once again He will say.  It is Very Good.

God’s plans for me are Very Good.  He makes no mistakes.  We were already created in His heart,  In the Beginning.

The Unholy Word

The “UNHOLY” Word

Millions of years, in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. And since he hadn’t done it before, he had to experiment to get it right. Besides He had no clear purpose for his creations. He decided to let his creation figure it out for itself, as it thought best.

The sun, moon and stars came into existence by the big bang as God didn’t have time to mess with them at that time. He randomly created creatures to see if they could evolve and certainly take millions of years doing it. Humans were a happy accident as they came out of the trees. And God said, “Ah this is good. Since they have managed this far I won’t give them my truth…my One and Only Son. They can manage on their own.” “By the way Jesus, you can breathe easy, you won’t have to sacrifice yourself and pay for their redemption…they can determine their own truth. They are doing well without us. We will stay here in the heavenly places were all is well. When their time comes to an end, that will be all there is but we will eternally be fine up here.

Since the people of the earth were doing well with discovering their own truth, eating drinking , marrying whom ever they want, and living according to the survival of the fittest, God thought it would be fun to teach one Man, Noah how to sail. Just for something to do. So he told Noah how to build his cute little boat and suggested he take his family and some animals along. God sent some rain to make great conditions for sailing. Noah had a great time sailing in his cute little boat and when he got off ….life went on as usual except for the local riverbed that had flooded all was well.

Sometime after the boat ride, all the people lived in one area. They declined to explore the earth. Instead they decided to build a tower to the heavens maybe to meet god as they suspected there might be one or maybe to prove they are great and like god. God had no problem with that after all he declared “If it feels good then do it”

God remarked to Jesus, “Since I had no purpose for these people and their ways are working out, there will be no need to set aside a chosen people for your human linage. You will not get to be born as a baby, perform miracles and the cross will not be your to bear. We will let these people carry on until they die or evolve, they made it past monkeys after all. There is no need to share absolute truth. Let us allow them to continue with violence, and the killing of the innocent, and having relations with whom ever they will. Some of the people are kind and gentle and seem to have a good head. We will let them sort it out….they’ve evolved, they have earned the right to make their own way. I do not think I will charge them or judge them for the end will be the end, so I guess I will not need to prepare a new Heavens and a new Earth.  There is no need to share our Glory and Perfection for they are doing okay and further more don’t want our help.  Thus it shall Be.

   How depressing is the above scenario?  Of course that is not what God’s Holy Word teaches.  But humanistic presupposition would teach us this in an effort to push God from the picture.  1 God created the heavens and the earth in six literal days..perfectly with infinite variety..no evolution needed! 2.  Man was created in Gods image…so we do have a higher purpose!  3.  Millions of years is just a presuposition. 4.  All was perfect until Adam and Eve chose to believe the deception of the Enemy…the saddest day in history when all went wrong…sin entered through human will. 5. Noah’s flood was an actual global flood…and was judgement against wickedness, not a joy ride.  The flood was capable of producing much of the geographical and geological features we see today including the fossil record. 6. The Tower of Babel was another key turning point in history.  The Rise of Nations and the Beginning of all Languages. 7.  There is redemption for the Human Race..through the price paid by Jesus Christ on the cross.the giving of his life in a humiliating and agonizing crusifixtion and miraculous resurection, conquering the power of death and sin…who wouldn’t want to put their Hope in that..Amen. 8.  God promises to create a new Heavens and Earth….pain free…wenst the lion layth down next to the lamb.  This is for the those who Declare Jesus is Lord and confess their sins and accept the salvation only Jesus can give.

Drug Addiction

Imagine the Sweet Abandon of Walking in the Cool of the Day with our Creator in the Garden.

I wonder if so much drug addiction prevails in the effort to get back what we started out with in the Garden of Eden.   Think of the Bliss of being able to commune with the Creator of the Universe.  The Wild Joy of Being in the presence of Awesomeness.  The Intense Sense of Well Being of Being Loved and Walking in the Cool of the Day with  Our Mighty Father.  The uninhibited Expression of Music and Praise to The Great I Am, the Dance of Pure Ecstasy because there is no pain, worry or sadness.  The Pleasure of being with the one Jehovah -Jireh, our Provider has given to us to Love and be Loved by.

Drugs, at first give  euphoria .   I can  only imagine what euphoria Adam and Eve had in the Garden living and breathing the perfection of God’s Creation before it was corrupted by sin..by the lies of the Enemy.  Now  many search to fill the void of what once was and once again the father of lies has led mankind to a false perfection , a false wellbeing.

Drugs and Alcohol create a wonderful sense of oneness with Self but be not deceived.  You need the Creator, Jesus Christ, His Holy Spirit to fill us.  The Bliss can start here on Earth as we began building His Kingdom…but the Eternal Life of Joy, Peace and Love comes as we bow to Our Lord that  has redeemed us if but Only we Ask.    Drugs and Alcohol offer no such option. 

Praise be to God. Praise to be God ,Praise Be to God!!!!!

Shantiema

The Shantiema were an amazing ancient culture.  One of the few cultures after the Tower of Babel to have taken on the daunting task of exotic animal husbandry.  Although to be sure,  not too exotic to them.  Everyday brought new challeges in the days after the confusion of tongues.  Shantiema moved quickly and skillfully through easteren Asia.  Along the way they began learning about the  unhcegila.  Creatures of large reptilian proportions.  The now carnivious monster was not always so feared.  When caught at a young age, as a lizardling from egg shell, he could be fed and kept among humans.  Harnesses were crafted by the Shantiema for this creature to help aid the transport of supplies.  This was not the most important way of the Shantiema.  They were God fearing.  They remembered the ways of Noah and the sons.  The stories of the great deludge resounded in the night time recounting of history.  To them no other God but the Star Breather of the universe could be worshiped.  They remembered the alters for sacrafice had to be an alter of blood for the remission of sin.  Brother Cain’s story reminded them of that.  So it was the Restless One that lived to be 160 years old that handed the stories down to new generations of Shantiema.

Sound Off

This will be a mixture of things on my mind recently.

    I have been studying AA, that’s right, anonymous.    Ever since I started working in an alcohol and drug treatment center 7 years ago, I have had suspicions about the claims that it is a Christian centered program.  I am here to say it is any thing but.  It is barely God centered, let alone Christ centered which is what Christian  means.  It is god centered however, notice small g.  AA allows for you to choose you own higher power including the AA group itself if you choose.  Jesus is not mentioned in the material.  And let me sum it up here for now although i will have more on this i am sure.   Jesus says in John 14:6-I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me.  Notice he did not say a way, a truth, a life.  He said THE WAY, THE TRUTH, THE LIFE.

  Next on my mind is the whole pharmaceutical realm of my job.  I have done some study on this as well, and I am here to say that antideppressants are not the answer and in fact in some if not many cases , the problem.  The pharmaceutical companies do stand to make billions on drug sales and millions on pychotropic drugs alone(mood stabelizers, antidepressants, anti anxiety meds).   Anti-Depressants (specifically ones called SSRIs) mess with you brain chemicals in ways unknown.  This is common knowledge to drug companies and the FDA.  It is true it may help with mood…for awhile but is the UNKNOWNS that i am not comfortable.  Consider this,  suicide attempts particularly in teens has increased since main stream use of SSRIs.  For my purposes today i won’t even touch on the physical implications these drugs may have.  Oh wait, being dead is a physical implication.   Bottome line…..life’s troubles do cause saddness and depression.  If a loved one dies and a no sadness was felt, that would not be normal.  If a divorce did not cause stress that would be unusal.  I believe using medication as the first couse of dealing with life is never going to solve the pronblem long term.  Now Jesus says he Has come that we might have life and have it to the fullest…now that is a perscription for Life I can get behind!

Sweet Hour of Prayer

I’ve been thinking a lot about my Grandmother.  She passed away last year. I remember when I was telling a co-worker about how much Grandma loved Jesus and how ready she was to go meet Jesus.  I again emphasised how much she loved Jesus.  My co-worker said,  “Oh,  she’s one of those.”  She went about her workday but her words left me thinking .   I love Jesus.  Did my co-worker not also know this.   Was I living my life as a testimony for  Jesus.  My Grandmother certainly did.  Everyone knew….even complete strangers knew that Grandma loved Jesus.   What am I doing or lack there of,  that does not set me apart as  “One of Those.”  To this day I am still pondering those words from my co- worker and my daily prayer is:   Blessed Redeemer, My Sweet Jesus,  Help me be “One of Those”,  Amen.

Hello world.  This is my leap of faith as it were, into the blogging world.  A wise woman told me this will be an adventure.   An adventure in finding my voice and taking it to a whole new level.  I do love adventures!!!!
